LANTA Membership Categories
(Note that only Active and Associate members are eligible for CNLA Member Discount Programs)
Active:
Partnership, corporation or proprietorship actively engaged in one or more of these business categories: Nursery Grower, Landscape Contractor (design, construction, or maintenance), Lawn Care Professional, Irrigation contractor, Arborist, Greenhouse Operator, Garden Centre Operator, Sod Producer, Horticultural Consultant.
When applying for Active membership, we ask that you procure the sponsorship of two current Active LANTA members. This streamlines the application process as these business references are companies already familiar to our Association. If you are not familiar with any of our current Active or Associate members, you can provide two business references. Search the LANTA member directory
Associate:
Businesses supplying material, equipment, or products to the green industry.
Affiliate:
City/town, county, municipal district, institutions or public departments providing ornamental horticultural services; associations; educational institutions; private or public golf courses.
Out of Province:
Any business engaged in the green industry that does not have an office located in Alberta, and is a current member of their local provincial or state association.
A Branch Office Listing is offered to branch/satellite offices (in Alberta) of companies that maintain an Active or Associate membership in LANTA. This listing provides a branch office with: a business listing (in addition to the head office listing) in our member directory, all LANTA news and event notices, and eligibility for member prices on event fees.
Former Members wishing to re-join LANTA may contact Member Services for eligibility information.
Individual membership is made available to educators, speakers, etc. who are ineligible for Active, Associate or Affiliate membership (i.e. not involved in commercial industry activity). Eligibility restrictions apply and applications may be subject to Board approval.
